Vision & Mission Statement

The Connection equips women in developing a vibrant, consistent walk with Christ by providing opportunities to study God’s Word and build meaningful relationships.

We provide women the opportunity to study God’s Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17(NLT), “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

We encourage women to serve others. Serving together builds unity, encourages growth, and develops relationships. 1 Peter 4:10 (NLT), “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”

We provide a safe place where women can find Biblically-sound support. This could come in the form of mentoring, small groups, larger venues, such as events or via online communications. Ecclesiastes 4:10 (NLT), “If one person falls, the other can  reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”

We offer social opportunities for Christian friendships to form because women benefit by regularly meeting together with other believers. Hebrews 10:25 (NLT), “And let us notneglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
